O&M Procedure Manuals

O&M manuals are required in Canada by the National Energy Board (NEB) Act and the Onshore Pipeline Regulations (OPR) and in the United States by the federal pipeline safety regulations (49 CFR Part 192 and 195). To ensure compliance with these regulations, the operating divisions of Enbridge have developed a comprehensive suite of O&M manuals. Enbridge Technology Inc. has adapted these manuals to a generic format to serve as templates for the development of O&M manuals for our customers.

We offer ten O&M manuals that can be purchased separately or as a complete package; we can customize each standard for your company or they can be purchased in a generic format.

Each manual contains:

• A Revision History Form
• A Table of Contents
• A Revision Request Form
• A Glossary of Terms used throughout the manual
• An explanation of the abbreviations used in the manual (API, ASME, ASTM, etc.)
• Useful conversion data (degrees F to degrees C, barrels to cubic meters, etc.)
• An Overview, Standards, Procedures, and Appendices for most sections
